How Did My Membership Fee Work In the Past Year

Well, your membership fee worked very hard in the past year.

First, please be aware that for each membership fee,

- $2.25 paid to the National PTA

- $2.00 paid to the Maryland PTA (state)

- $1.00 paid to the MCCPTA (county)

- Remaining to Wootton High School PTSA (school)

Your membership fee allows us to provide free services to the Wootton community.

- Weekly Patriots News to all Wootton families

- Parent Teacher Student Directory to all Wootton PTSA members

Your membership fee allows us to provide discounted services to the Wootton community.

Using your membership fee, we contributed to the following school funds.

Principal's Emergency Fund: To support individual students and families who are struggling (e.g., purchased a coat for a homeless student and paid the balance of a wheelchair for a special ed student)
Wellness Fund: To support the wellness activities for teachers/staff and students (e.g., May 5K run, Family Fitness Day, Patriot of the Month)

We contributed to the following student engagement activities and provided parent volunteers.

We also organized the following teacher/staff appreciation events with the help from many parent volunteers.
